Who we are
Livrit is a Black-owned business created for the sole purpose of connecting restaurants, consumers, and independent contractors. Our software permits registered users to have food orders delivered efficiently and effectively. After witnessing the impact of the pandemic in 2020, we ventured to help solve a major issue with the small businesses in the food industry, the limited selections the customers were experiencing with the 3rd party delivery platforms, and the financial crisis many Americans were in.
The 3rd party delivery platforms charge restaurants up to 25% of their revenue. They also collect those revenue dollars and forward the money to the restaurant at a later date, which means the restaurant does not have immediate operating cash. Our platform allows restaurants to enjoy huge savings by only paying a monthly subscription fee, while keeping 100% of their revenue. It actually increases their revenue by allowing restaurants that wouldn’t normally provide delivery services the ability to expand and have their menu items delivered to their customers by simply using our platform.
Customers use 3rd party delivery platforms to have food delivered to them in lieu of going out or preparing meals at home. In order to do this, they must search for a suitable restaurant within a reasonable mile radius that has partnered with the delivery platform they’re registered with. Our platform allows the customer to place a pick-up order (whether online or via phone) at their favorite restaurant within a 30-mile radius if desired. Once the order has been made and paid, our platform can be used to send notification to a driver to pick it up and “livrit”.
We understand the need for independent contractors to earn a living and maintain a level of income. By partnering with Livrit, contractors can increase their workload and get paid on each delivery. The minimum amount a delivery will pay is $4.50. All tips are credited to the contractors. Contractors can request payouts at any time, which will be deposited directly into their bank account.
